REGISTRATION & COSTS
If you don't want to enter your data to google, you can e-mail us your answers to the form linked above to benbamboo[at]posteo.de .
‼️ Tickets for BiPoC still available.
For everybody else we are already FULLY BOOKED (within 3 days this time! 🤯). You can still sign up and be on our waiting list. In May we will give the remaining BiPoC tickets to people from the waiting list. ‼️
We are aware that it is a privilege to be able to afford events like this, and try to keep all costs as low as we can while still staying loyal to our needs and what we consider necessary to make it a great event.
Further down you can see a financial insight overview on what your money is spent on.
The costs per person are divided into a house fee & an event fee:
Your HOUSE FEE
Depends on your sleeping option
and covers your sleeping spot, food, and our additional house costs like the seminar rooms, team rooms etc.
It is to be paid as soon as we confirm your registration.
Sleeping options are (total amount per person):
● Room of 6 - 335 €
● Room of 4 - 335 €
● Room of 3 - 350 €
● Room of 2 - 395 €
● Your caravan (bigger than 1 car space) - 305 €
● Your bus/car - 275 €
● Your tent - 275 €
● Outside the venue in a different place of your own choice (you still have to pay this amount to the house:) - 275 €
Your EVENT FEE
Covers all other costs like material, team travel costs, prints, sauna rental, insurance etc., as well as the main orga team's work + other team members' compensations.
It is to be paid when you arrive at the event.
Our range for your event fee is
400 - 100 €
depending on how much you want to and can afford.
You may consider these categories that we made up:
(things may be different for you than in these examples!)
1. easy:
I usually don't worry about money, I can easily afford several events like this per year with little or no compromising, I have some proximity to generational wealth...
→ 300-400 €
2. middle:
keeping an eye on my cash but also able to breath, I can go out to eat, have holiday trips that cost money, buy stuff here and there, I have savings, I have some proximity to generational wealth...
→ 200-300 €
3. low:
strict calculations on what I can afford each month, empty bank account, cheap everyday life, coming to such an event is rather a luxury, I experience social marginalization that affects my finances, ...
→ 100-200 €

DISCOUNTS
We cannot offer discounts on the house fees, but we are somewhat flexible on our event fee.
We especially consider discounts for Black, Indigenous & People of Colour (BiPoC), and also other marginalized or disadvantaged people like trans people, queers, single parents, people with disabilities or chronic illnesses etc.
If the lower end of our event fee range is still too much for you, please let us now in your registration or contact us directly, and we will see what we can do and hopefully be able to reduce or skip your event fee.
💚
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your spot:
I.
You can only cancel with us, not through the venue Leuther Mühle
(even though you pay your house fee to them).
II.
If we can fill up your spot by our waiting list, we will refund you a part of your house fee (which you paid to Leuther Mühle).
100€ of it will be kept as a cancellation fee.
III.
If we can NOT fill up your spot, your full house fee will be kept.
The cancellation policy of Leuther Mühle does not apply to our event.
IV.
After the event has started, we can not give you any refunds on the fees.

WHO THIS IS FOR
We will be about 110 people including the team.
LOVE RYOT is open for all ethnic groups, nationalities, skin colours, all genders and sexual orientations, all abilities.
You can come as single, couple, polycule or any other constellation.
At our past events, many participants came through friends and acquaintances of our team, as well as people who had attended our events before and enjoyed them. Many were based in Cologne or Leipzig.
We tend to attract open-minded people, some are artsy, some bring a bit of a hippie vibe, some are politically interested, queer activists, massage professionals, musicians, kinky people, vanilla people, people with unusual life styles, people with normal or boring jobs and warm hearts, people who want to break out of inner boxes... -
also in many cases we don’t know what people’s “real life” looks like as we don’t ask much about it and it often happens that you would be dancing, talking, laughing, crying with people at our events and not even ever know any hard facts about them.
BIPOC
(Black, Indigenous, and People of Color)
We explicitly invite BIPoC, and want to make it easier for you to join!
This time, we reserve 30% of the tickets for BIPoC in order to enable more BiPoC participating, create a stronger sense of community and a festival environment where participants are less likely to feel isolated or tokenized.
This is a first-time experiment. If not all those tickets for BiPoC are taken 6 weeks before the event, we will give them to other people on our waiting list - so it's no guarantee about the amount of BiPoC at the event, it's just an invitation.
We also offer discounts to BiPoC, if you can not pay the lower end of our range. By that we want to lower financial barriers and acknowledge that BiPoC are more often affected by social and structural disadvantages.
Please mention it in your registration or contact us, if this is relevant for you.
These are attempts to contribute as a practical and also a symbolical way of addressing systemic racism, structural barriers and unequal access that many BIPoC are facing, which often influences who feels able, welcome, or encouraged to participate in events like ours.
If you experience any incidents of racism or face challenges related to race or migration history at our event (even if unintended), our team is there to support you. We are not specifically trained in anti-racism etc., but self-educated (to different degrees) and aware of the issue.
We will take you seriously and are willing to learn & support.
At the event we label one of the lunch tables as a meeting point for BIPoC people to connect.
We are in research on what else could help for more diversity in our crowds - send us your critiques, thoughts & ideas, and invite your BiPoC friends!

QUEERS
LGBTG+ - yeyy!!
🌈
We usually have a pretty queer team, and explicitly welcome trans, nonbinary, inter, agender, aro/ace, homo and all people in-between.
We are striving towards a non-hetero- & cis-normative guidance of all elements of the event,
and we love to get feedback and learn more.
If you experience any incidents of queer-/transphobia or face challenges related to gender at our event (even if unintended), our team is there to support you. We are not specifically trained about this, but self-educated (to different degrees) and aware of the issue.
We will take you seriously and we are very willing to support.
♥︎
POLITICAL VIEWS
We are not open to political opinions or messages that support racist, sexist, homophobic, violent, ableist or other discriminatory attitudes.
We do not want people at our events who support right-wing ideas.
By that we admit that we are not open to all people and opinions -
we hope that with this position we can increase acceptance and equality of discriminated people.
♥︎
AGE
You need to be at least 18.
In the last years at our events, the majority of people was around 25-45 years old, with a big part somewhere in the 30s, and a few people usually in their 50's and 60's.
In a few cases in the past, some people who were significantly above the average age have found it difficult to connect or find partners for intimate exercises.
We want to name this, even though age may not have been the reason they had these difficulties - there are all kinds of aspecs that influence how easy or hard we get into touch with others, and how welcoming others treat us. (Looks, stereotypes, language, social skills, social rank, aura...)
It is a complex topic.
We just want to name this, so that people can decide if they want to be in this space.
